Scores reset at each major stage unless the final approved rulebook specifies otherwise. Scores from different stages should not be combined to decide advancement.

Larger qualifier fields

Heat sizes, the number of scoring rounds, qualification quotas and tie-breaks must be published before entries close. Raw points from unequal heats cannot be compared without an approved normalization method.

Head-to-head games

Match wins, series structure and seeding need a game-specific format. Any conversion to stage placement points must be published before the stage begins.

Before results go live

Officials must validate placements, penalties and any appeals. Results, points and statistics will remain empty until verified competition has taken place.
